Hi there!

Hey friend! I’m Jessa and welcome to my macro friendly recipe collection. Eating plenty of lean protein, veggies and fiber, as well as healthy carbs is important to me and my family. I try and develop new recipes that we actually eat. My older kids play sports at a high-level, so it’s important that they are well fueled. I work 12 hour days as a nurse and nurse educator, and when I’m not working, I love to run and lift weights. Nutrition, hydration and sleep are so important in our lives, that I do what I can to make it easy for us to reach our goals.

You may have been here before, when this site was Low Carb Delish. While I enjoyed the recipes and eating low carb, I found that I really wanted to move into a more balanced way of eating. I was already tracking (well usually) and so adding in more healthy carbs, and focusing on lean proteins and getting enough fiber was an easy transition. If you are low carb or keto, don’t worry, the recipes are still there. I mean, I still make the Cheesy Cheddar Cauliflower Rice from time to time!
